What I Remember

What I Remember explores how Elephant and castle holds the memories of its Latin American community within its textures and spaces. Through conversations with local business owners and the collection of textures and imprints from leaves to walls to vents this project imagines how a place might remember the people who gave it life. Each texture , surface and imprint carries the echo of a story. Together these fragments are a sensory map of belonging, a memory of a community written into the walls themselves.
